how to hike to alamere falls

Alamere Falls is a waterfall that flows directly into the Pacific Ocean. There is no Alamere Falls trail, but multiple trailheads and at the Falls. This guide uses the Palomarin Trail.

while mostly flat, this is a challenging hike due to the mileage and 1 mile of beach walking.

this is the most popular hike in point reyes, so get there early for fewer crowds or go during the week!

about 2 meals into the hike you'll pass bass lake. it's a good place to rest and have a snack
